Information for New Members:

What is MOMS Club of Fort Collins - West?

We are a group of moms who meet to have fun with our kids. We have weekly playdates, new and fun activities every week, a moms night out (usually without kids), food delivery for several weeks to families with new babies (provided by members), a babysitting co-op (where we trade sitting with each other), service projects that benefit community groups, and monthly meetings with crafts or speakers on topics of interest to mothers. We also have the Activity Groups listed below. If you have more questions, please look at the Frequenty Asked Questions page.

Activity Groups Within the MOMS Club:
These activities open to anyone who has already joined the MOMS Club of Fort Collins West. You will be sent coordinators' contact info along with your welcome letter.

Want to get outside, get some exercise, and enjoy time with fellow moms? The Walking Group meets once or twice a week for a walk on local trails. Walks are stroller friendly and all ability levels are welcome. If you're interested to joining, just e-mail our Walking Group Coordinator.

It can be difficult inventing a new menu for dinner every night. The Cooking Club meets to share delicious dishes, that are quick and easy to prepare. We list our recipies online. If you're interested to joining, you may do so once you are a member of the MOMS Club.

The Babysitting Co-op is a successful part of our club. Through the trading of hours, the co-op allows us to visit medical and other appointments without our kids, or just have some time to ourselves for fun time. The system works with a trading of "Baby Bucks" or hours. Each new member starts with ten points to trade. Your points are deducted for using babysitting services, and you earn points by babysitting for others. If you're interested to joining, please e-mail our Babysitting Co-op Coordinator after joining the MOMS Club.

MOMS Club Service Projects:

We contribute to the community through our service projects. In May 2010, we organized a fundraiser for Project Self-Sufficiency that raised approximately $4400! The Moms Helping Moms: Childrens Fashion Show and Silent Auction had donations by many kind local businesses, as well as the time and efforts of MOMS Club members and their families. We also collected lots of clothes for three local charities: The Dream Room, The Kid's Closet, and ABLEWomen, which is affiliated with the Junior League. Event food was donated to the Open Door Mission.
